A variety of resources are available throughout Metro Denver to help companies develop and expand their international trade capabilities.
- Foreign Trade Offices - The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade maintains a contractual agreement with a representative office in Guadalajara, Mexico led by a foreign national. Relations are maintained with honorary trade offices in Japan, Argentina, Germany, Brazil, and Switzerland.
- World Trade Center - The World Trade Center Denver is part of a worldwide network of nearly 300 Trade Centers in 100 countries and offers trade-related education and training in addition to a state-of-the-art computer system linking Colorado-based companies with buyers and sellers throughout the world.
- Global Real Estate - The Global Real Estate Project is an online tool for international real estate research developed by the University of Denver's Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management. The interactive site allows users to compare international real estate trends and information and access data sources such as CIA World Fact Book Data and the World Bank Business Database.
- Foreign Trade Zones - Three general purpose Foreign Trade Zones in Metro Denver and Northern Colorado allow manufacturers using imported parts and materials to expedite customs and reduce or eliminate some fees and tariffs. One zone is located near the old Stapleton Airport; the other two are located at the former WorldPort by Denver International Airport and the Great Western Industrial Park in Windsor. High-volume, high-tariff manufacturers can also establish Foreign Trade Subzones at their place of business.
